He has chosen YOU

For we know, brothers and sisters loved by God, that he has chosen you, because our gospel came to you not simply with words but also with power, the Holy Spirit, and deep conviction [1 Thessalonians 1:4].
This provides comfort knowing:
In a world where approval often feels conditional—dependent on our performance, status, or success—the Gospel offers a fundamentally different foundation.
Faith is power that provides the strength to change, to forgive, to break old habits, and to live with purpose.
When we look to Jesus, we discover a resilient joy that trial after trial cannot extinguish; our faith sustains us even when life gets tough, chaotic, or painful.
Lord, thank you that we are loved and chosen before we’ve done anything. Let our faith be more than words. Fill us with your Spirit and give us the kind of joy that holds steady even when life is hard.
