When fear locks the door

How often do we find ourselves in our own “locked rooms”? Moments when fear, doubt, or disappointment close us off—from others, from hope, even from God.
We lock the door to protect ourselves:
From pain we don’t want to revisit
From uncertainty we can’t control
From questions we’re afraid to ask
The disciples knew this feeling well. Yet Jesus didn’t wait for them to open the door. He entered anyway—bringing peace, not judgment.
And so today, even when our doors are locked in fear, Jesus stands among us..."Peace be with you!"
